Meet Our Consultants

James Nash
Senior RTO Consultant
Over 25 Years of Experience in the VET Sector.
James has over two decades of experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, having held a variety of roles within multiple RTOs. His background includes both hands-on training and senior management roles, with expertise across a broad range of Training Packages.
James has held key leadership positions including Training Coordinator, RTO Manager, and Head of Faculty, and has overseen both CRICOS operations and a range of funding contract obligations.
Now operating as a full-time RTO consultant, James offers services such as:

Initial registration and re-registration support
Conducting internal audits
Assisting with scope of registration changes
Validating assessment tools
Developing policy and compliance documentation
Delivering independent reviews of RTO operations

James also brings valuable insight from his time as an auditor for ASQA and VRQA, giving him a deep understanding of regulator expectations and audit requirements.

Carly Nash
Senior RTO Consultant
20 Years of Experience in Training, Administration & Compliance.
Carly has worked in the VET sector for approximately 20 years, beginning her career as a Retail and Business trainer following extensive experience in the retail industry. She quickly moved into leadership roles, including Training & Administration Manager, where she was responsible for the coordination of over 500 trainees, while managing all associated funding and compliance requirements.
Carly also served as RTO Manager of a National RTO, leading the organisation through initial registration and the establishment of its core compliance systems.
Since joining Nash Training Services in 2009, Carly has worked with a wide range of RTOs, providing support in areas such as:

Conducting internal audits
Assisting with scope of registration changes
Validating assessment tools
Developing policy and compliance documentation
Development of training and assessment materials
General RTO operations and compliance consulting
